about

This time I'm demonstrating the fun you can have with the e350 in LFO mode, using the PHASE setting

I am using the e350's wave output (one 180 degrees out of phase with the other) mainly to modulate 2 filters on the Animated Pulses and Alien Saws outputs of the AFG. This creates a kind of swirling autopan type of affair. the AFG's waves are fed to the a124 Wasp filter (left) and Pittsburgh Filter (right). The a124 is then fed into the Echophon, and the Pittsburgh into the Vermona Retroverb Lancet. The a124's Bandpass output is inverted, and taken via a WMD Multimode VCA back into the a124's audio input (mixed in with the original AFG wave) - this creates crazy tearing distortion on the resonance at points when the VCA is opened

The e350's outputs modulate the following:

1 - the CV inputs of the AFG's animated waves section

2 - the CV inputs of the a124 WASP (left) and Pittsburgh Filter (right)

3 - the Resonance CV input of the Pittsburgh

4 - the Exp. FM input of the AFG

5 - the Echo time CV input of the Echophon

6 - the Pitch CV input of the Echophon

7 - the CV input of the Multimode VCA (containing the inverted bandpass output of the a124 wasp)

8 - the CV input of the Retroverb's filter section

Various controls are twiddled throughout - e350 is pushed into audio rates at points, and retroverb's settings jammed with extensively (as are the Echophon's)
